An electric catering urn that boils and holds water for tea and coffee service, in 9, 18, 27 and 40 litre capacities. The stainless steel body is filled by hand and heated by a 3,000 W element, with a tap on the front for self-service.

These are the workhorses of high-volume beverage service - hotel breakfast, conference catering, hospital and institutional canteens, banqueting - where the requirement is simply a large volume of water at temperature all day. The body is uninsulated, which keeps the purchase price down where the urn is refilled and drained continuously rather than left to stand.
