Taski Ergodisc Duo

The TASKI ergodisc duo exists to solve a specific procurement problem: most sites need both a low-speed machine for stripping and scrubbing and a high-speed machine for buffing and polishing, and buying two machines doubles the capital cost, the storage footprint and the training burden.

The duo collapses that into one chassis with a two-speed gearbox - TASKI markets it plainly as two powerful machines in one. At 165 rpm it handles heavy wet scrubbing, stripping, deep cleaning and grinding; at 330 rpm it buffs, spray cleans, polishes and crystallises.

For a contract cleaner or hotel running mixed floor types - terrazzo and marble that need crystallisation and polishing, plus vinyl and tile that need periodic stripping and re-sealing - the duo is the most flexible machine in the ergodisc range. Note the trade-off: it is meaningfully heavier than the ergodisc 165 because of the gearbox, which is felt when carrying it between floors.

This is a single-disc machine with a two-speed gearbox - not a twin-disc machine. It has no recovery tank or squeegee; the water tank (part 8504390) is an optional accessory for wet scrubbing.
