Gastronorm is an international standard (EN 631), which is the point of it: any 1/9 pan fits any 1/9 opening, on any compliant counter, trolley, oven runner or refrigerator shelf, regardless of who made it. That interoperability is what lets a kitchen move food from cold store to oven to service without decanting it.
