A full-size Gastronorm container in 65 mm depth, the workhorse pan of a professional kitchen - used for prep, storage, transport, refrigeration, bain marie service and buffet display.

Gastronorm is an international standard (EN 631), which is the point of it: any 1/1 pan fits any 1/1 opening, on any compliant counter, trolley, oven runner or refrigerator shelf, regardless of who made it. That interoperability is what lets a kitchen move food from cold store to oven to service without decanting it.
